Status and roadmap
Where NEXZOS stands today
What we sell today is a working environment under construction, and that is what we call it. This page exists because a buyer who has to dig this out alone becomes, rightly, suspicious.

What runs today
A working environment, 75 to 80 per cent complete. The development phase that built privacy into the architecture is finished. There is a demo you can see live.
What is still to come
The first organisation in production is still to start, so a reference customer to ring arrives only after the first pilots. That is deliberate: we develop the rest together with the organisations that join first.
What that means for you. You are buying an assessment, then a pilot, and only then a rollout, with a real decision to continue or stop after each step.
Timeline
| Period | What happens |
|---|---|
| Q4 2026 | Technical briefings, assessments, first pilot agreements |
| Q1-Q2 2027 | Pilots at the first organisations, decision on continuation |
| 2027-2028 | Development against those organisations' requirements, certification |
| Oct 2028 | Windows 10 ESU ends for good |
| From 2029 | Wider rollout |
Straight about where we stand
What we commit to
You would find these out anyway, so here they are in our own words. Each one is a reason to keep the first steps small, which is exactly how the route above is built.
The first organisation in production is still to start
NEXZOS runs today as a working environment and is 75 to 80 per cent complete. The first organisation in production is still to start. That is precisely why the route starts with a report and with a pilot beside your existing estate, rather than with a replacement.
ISO 27001: programme in preparation
The certification is still under way. What we can put in front of your security officer today is the architecture, the data flows and the update route, and a source audit can be arranged.
GDPR-by-design with the certification in preparation
Data protection was part of the development phase. How compliant the end result is depends on how you configure and use it, so the assessment carries a data protection section written with your own privacy officer, including input for a DPIA. Nobody can sell you compliance as a product.
Escrow · audit · exit are offers
They can be arranged and recorded in the contract. They are offers to be arranged with the agreement, and we would rather say that here than have you discover it during the contract review.
The figures stay ranges until they are yours
Software cost from 40 per cent lower, hardware life 35 to 50 per cent longer. Those are the ranges we work with. They become numbers when they are recalculated on your own estate during the assessment, and they may well land at the bottom of the range.
The ESU comparison has a break even
Over three years the comparison against Windows 10 Extended Security Updates works out in your favour from roughly sixty workstations, assessment fee included; over five years, once ESU has ended and Windows has to be bought again, from roughly twenty-five to thirty. Below that a pilot is proof rather than a saving, and the case rests on hardware life, data location and supplier jurisdiction. The quotation builder on the pricing page shows which side of the line you are on.
