What NEXZOS costs

Two things are priced here. First the assessment, which tells you whether this is worth doing at all. Then the packages, once you know that it is.

The price is the easiest part of this decision. What you are really buying is where your data sits, what your own people may see and what you can hand to an auditor; that is on the compliance page.

Assessment€ 675, € 1,250 or € 1,750
Licence€ 80, 65 or 55 per workstation, paid once
Support€ 12 in year two, € 15 a year from year three

Step one: the assessment

Every assessment ends the same way, with a written report containing your own figures: which machines make it, what Windows costs you over the next three years, what NEXZOS costs, and what the difference is. What changes between the three is how deep we go, and therefore how firm those numbers are. Pick a level to see what it covers; the deeper the level, the lower the licence that follows. If you order phase 0 within three months of the report, the assessment fee comes off the invoice for phase 0 in full, so the assessment works out free if you go ahead.

The version that carries an internal decision. Assessed per machine individually.

  • Every machine judged individually and verified, so the verdict holds per serial number
  • Up to thirty applications, sorted into runs as is, compatibility route, or needs a decision
  • Named migration risks, each with an owner inside your organisation
  • Costs over three and five years, per workstation and for the whole estate
  • Saving per workstation set against the ESU route
  • Short data protection section: where data sits and what the processing agreement covers
  • Procurement route applied to your country, with your direct-award room in figures
  • Report of 8 to 10 pages, plus a 60-minute session with IT and procurement

All amounts exclude VAT. Every level sits below the direct-award ceiling in each country we work in, and below a usual internal signing limit, so every level stays available for direct award. All three levels are delivered remotely; a visit to your own office is quoted to measure and confirmed in writing before you order.

If the conclusion is that your estate is better off staying on Windows, that is what the report says. We would rather write that on page one than discover it in month eight of a rollout.

Step two: build your quotation

Pick your count, your assessment level and your country. What appears below is the published price list, itemised the way a purchase order would carry it, next to what staying on Windows costs over the same years. The assessment replaces every assumption with your own figures.

Over five years this estate costs € 42,700 on NEXZOS against € 46,000 for staying on Windows, ESU and then a Windows 11 purchase: € 3,300 less, 7 per cent. With the hardware Windows 11 would force you to replace, the difference grows to € 31,300. Over three years alone NEXZOS costs € 18,700 more than the ESU you can still avoid, because the migration is paid once and ESU ends in October 2028.

What the estate costs at the end of each year

Running total in euro, excluding VAT. The blue line is NEXZOS: assessment, pilot package or rollout, then support. The grey band is staying on Windows, from the cheapest route (ESU, then the Windows part of Microsoft 365 E3, 30 per cent of machines replaced) to the most expensive (ESU, then the Windows part of E5, 50 per cent replaced). Whether you look at three, four or five years, the gap between the line and the band is your saving. Hover or tap a year for the figures.

All amounts exclude VAT and are indicative until an assessment has replaced the assumptions with your figures. Windows 10 ESU at € 52, € 105 and € 210 per workstation in its three years, after which the programme ends. Year one and year two are already paid or already bought, € 157 together, and therefore sit outside the comparisons above; what a move can still save is € 210 per workstation. Beyond that: a Windows 11 purchase after ESU at a minimum of € 250 per workstation; the hardware line assumes that 40 per cent of machines stay below the Windows 11 requirements, at € 700 per replacement. Each assignment is a standalone order with its own decision; the procurement line uses the value of the pilot or rollout order plus four years of support, as the directive counts it.

Rollout after the pilot, per workstation€ 125€ 110€ 100

The deeper the assessment, the lower the licence: every machine judged and every application routed means less migration and support work for us, and we hand that back. From about forty workstations the Assessment fee is earned back on the licences alone, and from about fifty the Full assessment fee. Rollout is licence plus € 45 of rollout work, and that is the whole bill.

All amounts exclude VAT. The licences, with year one of support, sit inside the pilot package. Support and upgrades are invoiced per workstation per year from year two, at the amounts above, fixed in the agreement for the term you choose.
